Job Title: Spa Attendant – Part Time 22.5 Hours Per Week

It’s important to note that this role involves working on a rota which includes extended hours and some Saturdays and Sundays.

Person Specification & Requirements

Our Spa Attendant’s role is to provide assistance, help and guidance to all Spa visitors within the Thermal Suite. Reporting to the Spa Manager and Supervisors, the right candidate will demonstrate excellent skills and competence in all areas of customer service to guarantee an exceptional experience for our visitors. In support of this, maintaining Spa Etiquette and enforcing spa rules, if broken, is a very important aspect of the job and therefore you should be confident and assertive and yet able to remain polite at all times. The role is varied and therefore interesting since it combines dealing with the public, liaising with departmental managers (including our Food & Beverage team) and administration duties.

  • Main duties, including the following but not limited to:
  • Interacting with guests and members in the Thermal Suite
  • Enforcing Spa Etiquette & Spa Rules
  • Keeping the Thermal Suite and changing rooms are clean, tidy and hygienic at all times
  • To maintain health & safety in line with company policy and report any potential issues
  • Reporting any maintenance issues
  • Liaising with the Food and Beverage team
  • Assisting our Spa Reception with arriving guests using Premier Software computer system
  • Accurate data entry of client information onto customer relationship management software
  • Gift voucher sales, including administration
  • Mud Rasul Treatment preparation, following in-house training
  • Complaint handling
  • Cash handling

The above does not represent an exhaustive list of duties and the successful candidate may be required to perform other duties within their capabilities from time to time.

Due to the nature of this role the candidate will be required to work in the female changing area, we are therefore looking to recruit a female candidate for this role.

Job Title: Front of house – Spa Receptionist

Full and Part Time roles available

We are seeking an individual who has a passion for customer care and a keen interest in the spa and beauty industry! An enthusiastic individual who will always go the extra mile.
You will be working alongside our existing spa receptionists and become part of our Spa family.

Fulfilling the role as Spa Receptionist you will play a vital role in the running of our award-winning spa as you will be the first and last face all our guests and members see.

As Spa Receptionist you will be encouraged to deliver excellent customer service to ensure our guests have an unforgettable experience from the moment they arrive.

Previous receptionist experience is sought after, along with strong administrational skills. A background in retail is beneficial as developing the knowledge of the products sold in our Spa boutique will be required.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Assist guests on a day to day basis; welcoming them on arrival and ensuring a smooth guest experience at our Spa Reception.
  • Assist with inbound telephone and email enquiries for reservations, using multiple booking systems
  • Work different shift patterns within our opening hours including alternate weekends

Essential attributes:

  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a demanding environment
  • Ability to work on their own initiative within a work environment
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent personal presentation

Industry experience would be preferred but is not essential. Experience in a similar customer facing role would be an advantage but full training will be provided.

The Woodland Spa reception operates 7 days a week between 6.30am and 10pm
